The Padres who built the California Missions planted the original Mission olive trees here in California. Our oil is uniquely rich and fruity, as was desired by the Spanish missionaries. This is a fine olive oil. Taste is so smooth with no bitterness. I like thinking that I'm drinking olive oil from trees planted by the Franciscan missionaries. The customer service was excellent.
